Join us for an introduction to Active Shooter events and how they evolve. Attendees will learn the EPF strategy for use in an encounter with an active shooter in the workplace.

Course Description:

This is an introduction to Active Shooter events and how they evolve. Attendees will understand the dynamics of an active shooter and/or workplace violence and the psychological, physiological, and mental aspects of being involved in critical incidents. They will learn the EPF Strategy: EVADE, PREVENT, FIGHT for use in an encounter with an active shooter. Topics will include the history of active shooter incidents, as well as the roles, responsibilities, and/or response options of employers, employees and emergency responders.
