OSHA 30-Hour
This class meets five consecutive Thursdays July 12 through August 9, 2018 from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Note:
This course will provide an overview of the risk management and insurance profession from the health and safety program perspective. Topics include recognition, avoidance, abatement and prevention of safety and health hazards found in the workplace. It is designed for project management site supervision and field employees involved in the construction industry. Many owners are now requiring that on-site supervision obtain the 30-Hour construction outreach training program as an orientation to occupational safety and health covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. This class is NOT a prerequisite for the OSHA 500 course. If you want to take the OSHA 500 course you must take the OSHA 510 course. Series registration students will receive:
1. A copy of the 29 CFR 1926 standard
2. Class handout(s) An OSHA 30-Hour card from the OSHA Training Institute upon completion
All students must complete 30 hours to obtain certificate of completion.
