AGC Houston offers its members a variety of ways to get involved in chapter activities. Joining a committee provides members with great networking opportunities as well supporting the membership and industry by sharing their talents and expertise.

Membership

Strengthens and enhances the chapter by reaching out to prospective and existing members to share benefits and encourage participation. Committee members bring a commitment and willingness to promote AGC Houston as the voice of the commercial construction industry.
Meetings: Third Thursday of each month, typically in the morning.

Safety

Give and gain valuable insight to complex issues that affect jobsite safety. Join industry professionals, as well as OSHA representatives, as they discuss issues and regulations that affect the commercial construction industry.

Oversees the fundraising, distribution and application process of the Patrick J. Kiley Excellence in Leadership Scholarship program.

In addition to providing insights and ongoing support for current education initiatives, the committee offers guidance in the development of new programs to meet the ever-evolving needs of the construction industry.

Human resource specialits and legal professionals discuss timely workplace topics; Members often contribute articles for the chatper newsletters and the quarterly Cornerstone magazine.
