How to Join...

General Contractors
Membership opportunities exist for General Contractors, either individuals, firms, partnerships, joint ventures or corporations who have been engaged for at least two years in Commercial General Contracting prior to applying for membership with AGC Houston, and who have established a reputation of Skill, Responsibility and Integrity. Dues are assessed and collected as "project fees" on the basis of each specific contract to be performed. Contact Meaghan Higgins for more information on becoming an AGC GC member.

Specialty Contractors
Specialty Contractors typically share project risk and provide job site staffing; a trades Subcontractor to a General Contractor. Specialty Contractor dues for the first year are $750. Annual dues after the first year will be based on gross revenues for the company's previous year based on the following schedule: *Less than $3 million annual sales volume=$750; $3 to $5 million annual sales volume=$1,000; *$5 to $10 million annual sales volume=$2,000; *Over $10 million annual sales volume=$3,000

Associate Membership
Associate membership opportunities exist for firms, partnership, joint ventures or corporations engaged in the capacity of manufacturer, supplier or distributor or job site materials equipment. Annual membership dues for Associate memberships are $750.

Affiliate Members
Furnishes services related to, or derives a benefit from, the construction industry. Services provided include, but are not limited to: insurance, bonds, legal and accounting services and technology services, and vendors of support services or materials (computers and software, consulting services, construction drawings, financial services, communications services, messenger/delivery services, catering, etc.) Annual membership dues for Affiliate memberships are $750.

Note: If you are a current AGC Houston member (all categories excluding GCs), and wish to renew your membership online, you may do so by selecting the appropriate option below in the Pay Online section. Once you proceed to checkout, if you do not already have a online payment account with AGC Houston, you will be required to create one. Renewal memberships do not need to complete a new application.
