AGC/OSHA Partnering Program
Any General Contractor that is interested in participating in this program should contact Doug Watson at the Houston Chapter AGC for an application or more details about this program.
The basic criteria for contractors to participate is as follows:
- Must have an Experience Modification Rate of .75 or less.
- Your LWDI I (Lost Workday Incidence and Injury) rate must be at least 15% below the latest BLS National published rate.
- Your company must have a written Safety & Health Program.
- You must have someone identified as your Safety Representative.
Any contractor qualifying for this program will undergo a "Focused Inspection" by OSHA on one of their job sites, and if no violations are noted, this contractor will not receive a programmed inspection on any of their job sites from the two Houston OSHA Area Offices for a period of one year.
